CaseyMultiMedia is headed by Dawn Casey, a photographer and videographer based in Northern Virginia.

I am a professional freelance photographer and cameraman, plus I am an Apple Certified Final Cut Pro Editor and I frequently try to get everyone to convert to the Macintosh instead of the dreaded PC. I also teach iMovie and Final Cut Pro to the confused masses.

I have shot weddings, Congressional events of all kinds, interviews, conferences, promos, podcasts, and even other people’s personal home videos as both the photographer and the videographer.  I travel frequently and am willing to go where you need.

I also frequently have taken other people’s video and edited it for them. If you taped it, I can likely put it together into something useable for you.

I have some nice equipment which is quite willing to let itself be packed up and dragged around in order to make things happen because it likes to have fun too. I use a Canon 20D with a 18-55mm lens, a longer zoom lens of 55-250mm f/4, and a super-spiffy portraiture lens: a 28-70mm f/2.8L. I also have a Canon A650.

For my video cameras I’m equipped with a Sony PDX-10 with a shotgun mic. My Sony can plug into mults, computers, live systems, and is capable of USB streaming (aka: "live stream to the internet").

I also have a smaller Canon ZR800 I’ve nicknamed “the tiny one.” The Tiny One even comes with a tiny tripod, and has found itself wedged in difficult places like someone’s curio cabinet in order to get the most effective shot possible. I frequently use it to film my multi-cam wide shot angle.

Services I offer are diverse. I can photograph your event or video it for you, and you can have someone edit it or I can do that as well. I have a portable green screen, so if it’s your plan to have Godzilla fighting behind your head while you have your interview, I can accomplish that for you too!
